The prevalence rate of periodontal disease among Chinese people is as high as over 90%, and it is one of the main causes of missing teeth. In severe cases, it can affect chewing function and even nutrition and general health. Therefore, since I started practicing, I have focused on periodontal disease treatment.

After receiving complete specialist training in periodontics at National Taiwan University Hospital, I have been actively participating in international seminars and conferences to keep in line with international standards, with the aim of improving the quality of medical care. It is hoped that patients will not have to worry and spend time waiting for specialist treatment at the medical center and improve the efficiency of medical treatment.

There are a variety of dental treatments available today, and the medical treatments that are suitable for each person are different. It is common that many medical institutions provide "rapid full mouth reconstruction in one day" or "immediate dental implantation". The reality is that not everyone can afford the high cost of dentures. We insist that periodontal disease must be controlled before denture reconstruction, so that future dental implants or dentures will be reliable and durable.
