Liang Jiayuan, director of dental implantology at Modern Dental Implant Center, said that when patients are evaluating dental implant treatment and choosing a clinic for treatment, in addition to paying attention to the price of dental implants, they should also pay attention to the implant brand and braces material. Although the prices of major brands are more expensive, because they have been on the market for a long time, their quality is relatively guaranteed and the risk of subsequent maintenance is low.

Bone filling powder is one of the preparations before dental implant surgery. If the patient's alveolar bone thickness is insufficient, the patient's missing tooth area will need to be bone repaired first. The surgery naturally costs money, and the cost of dental implants will also need to increase.

Patients also need to understand the steps of dental implants before implanting them. Liang Jiayuan pointed out that local anesthesia will be given before implanting the artificial tooth root. The doctor will use the surgical guide plate to place the implant into the alveolar bone with the smallest wound, so that you will not feel pain during the dental implant. After the artificial tooth root is implanted, bone cells begin to integrate the implant. After the implant has been dormant for three months, the osseointegration has been sufficient to support the bite force. In order to shape the gum shape for future braces, the doctor will connect the upper end of the implant to the gum shaping cap to make the gums grow into the ideal shape.

Next is the design and installation of abutment teeth. The doctor will design customized abutment teeth for the patient's implants to support the braces. Then, a temporary brace made of resin is installed on the abutment teeth and tested. Finally, the dental technician will compare and color the patient's original teeth, and design an all-ceramic crown suitable for the patient based on the patient's bite to complete the dental implant.

Liang Jiayuan added that dental implants simulate the structure of natural teeth and can be chewed and eaten normally. Unlike wearing dentures, which require grinding the front and rear adjacent teeth, they are also easier to clean than dentures, which can greatly improve the patient's quality of life. However, the doctor also reminded that before dental implantation, you must pay attention to whether the clinic provides warranty and guarantee, "so as not to think that you are getting a bargain in the short term, but later need to pay extra for redoing or adjusting, then it will be a small gain."
