The so-called PRF refers to platelet-rich plasma, which mainly uses the properties of platelets for treatment. As most people know, platelets have the functions of coagulation and hemostasis. However, in recent years, many medical studies have found that platelets also play an important role in tissue repair and regeneration. They can locally release growth factors after injury to the human body to promote blood vessel proliferation and tissue regeneration and repair. We draw our own blood, use a centrifuge to remove red blood cells, and obtain plasma with a high concentration of platelets. Because it is extracted from your own body, there are no rejection problems or side effects, and it is relatively safe.
PRF Advantages
Hemostasis: Rich platelets can quickly stop bleeding.
Reduce pain: Enrich growth factors and accelerate wound healing.
Avoid infection: Protect the wound to prevent foreign matter from entering and causing bacterial infection.
PRF production process (Figure 2)
Using autologous blood to extract PRF can avoid unnecessary infection or rejection.
Process PC O2 P.R.F. 5 special centrifuge is used for the centrifugation process.
After centrifugation is completed, the blood in the test tube is separated into three layers, and the middle layer is the PRF clot.
One piece of PRF clot can be obtained from each test tube, which can be used in the form of aggregated bone powder or pressed into a regenerative membrane.
